Now the day’s algal bloom is biggest threat for aquaculture pond. An algal bloom can be defined as excessive proliferation of naturally growing algae in an aquatic ecosystem, normally algae is a part of aquatic food chain but when it grows rapidly causes harm to the aquatic animals.
It has been estimated that approximately 8 billion dollars losses per year across the world by algal bloom.
Algaesol is the copper based algaecide which is safe for most of the fish & control planktonic algae and mat forming algae.
It is used for algal control in fresh water lakes, potable water reservoirs, ponds, water gardens, fish hatcheries etc.
